• HO300 is a light seaplane jointly developed by AVIC China Special Aero-Vehicle Research Institute and AVIC’s Shijiazhuang Aircraft Industry Co. Ltd.. It is designed with single pilot dual-controls, a mid-upper cantilever wing with a high-mounted single engine, nose wheel, retractable landing gear and hull configuration. The intellectual property for HO300 belongs fully to China, and it is the first light plane made in China. Its design and manufacture conforms to CCAR-23-R3 requirements.


    Features

    HO300 has a short take-off and landing run with the ability to take off and land on existing airports or simple runways paved with concrete or asphalt. It can also take off and land from water with sufficient clearance, such as bays, rivers, lakes and reservoirs of at least 800m of length, 50m of width and 1m of depth. It is an ideal aero-vehicle for light operation in plain, inland waters and remote mountainous areas with water. After simple modification, it can be used for sightseeing, training, sports and entertainment, agricultural-forestry operations as well as aerial surveying and photography.

  • This large fire-fighting search and rescue amphibious aircraft – AG600 is designed to meet the requirements for forest firefighting and emergency search and rescue missions on water. The aircraft is a single vessel body with cantilevered high mounted wings. It is equipped with four WJ6 engines and nose-wheel tricycle retractable landing gear.

    When performing the tasks of forest firefighting, the amount of water scooped by the aircraft in 20 seconds can reach 12,000kg. The aircraft can fly to and from a water source and fire site to jettison water several times. In performing the task of search and rescue on water, the minimum level flight altitude of the aircraft is 50m. It can also anchor on water to conduct search and rescue tasks, which can evacuate up to 50 people at one time.
