AVIC Cabin Systems launched with its London HQ into operation

AVIC conducted a launch ceremony at the Farnborough Airshow on July 16, announcing the founding of AVIC Cabin Systems Company Limited (ACS) and unveiling its London Operation Headquarters. Attendees included Chinese Ambassador to the UK, Liu Xiaoming; AVIC Chairman Tan Ruisong; Executive Vice President Chen Yuanxian; as well as representatives from the UK’s Department for International Trade, Northern Ireland local government, Airbus, Hainan Airlines, Bank of China, and CNIC Corporation.
ACS’s cabin products cover most of the segmentation fields of the cabin interior, whose customers come from manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing (OEM), as well as other global airlines. Its businesses are distributed throughout different regions in the world. ACS owns five factories involved in cabin interiors. They are: FACC (Future Advanced Composites Company), located in Austria, a ceiling/floor interiors and composite structural parts supplier; Fesher (Fesher Aviation Components (Zhenjiang) Company Limited), in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province that provides aircraft interior panels and composite structural parts; Thompson (Thompson Aero Seating), whose headquarters and R&D base in Belfast of Northern Ireland is a first class and business class seat supplier; AVIC Jiatai (AVIC Jiatai Aircraft Equipment Company Limited), which is located in Xiangyang, Hubei Province and is an economy seat supplier; and AIM (AIM Altitude), with a headquarters and manufacturing base in Bournemouth, UK, and an R&D center in New Zealand, which is a kitchen and high-end decoration cabinet supplier.
